In Past Perfect Tense two actions happened and the one *which happened before should be in the Past Perfect Tense* and the other, *which happened later, will be in the Past Indefinite* Tense.


   In the case of the first case the auxiliary verb _*had*_ is used before the main verb which will in the _*past participle*_ of said main verb. 


Example 1 : The patient *had died* before the doctor *came*.


2. The train *had left* before we *reached* the station. 


3. Malala *had received* the Nobel Prize before she *attended* the age of 18.


7. Yesterday I *had taken*_ bath before I _*ate*_ my meal. 


8. Ruma _*had done*_ her M. A. in English before she _*did*_ her B. Ed. 


9. Subhash _*had formed*_ the Azad Hind Fouz before he _*began*_ the offensive against the British Government. 


10. Rita _*had completed*_ her training before she _*joined*_ the Civil Service.
